BC 001 — One Eye Open

The first official Bloom Cup.

A Daruma doll traditionally begins with one eye left blank. The first eye is filled when a goal is declared. The second eye is filled only after the goal is fulfilled.

For Bloom Cups, the goal is simple:

100 cups.

Not perfection.

Not virality.

Not success.

Just showing up.

One cup at a time.

This piece was completed during a season of rebuilding—a season marked by uncertainty, waiting, and faith without guarantees.

The unfinished eye became a reminder that not every promise arrives immediately.

Some goals require patience.

Some dreams require repetition.

Some victories are earned one ordinary day at a time.

The second eye will remain empty until Bloom Cup #100 is complete.
